The Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS) has routinely provided the federal government with evidence-based analysis in order to inform public policy development.
Our Fellows, drawn from all disciplines across our nation’s universities, healthcare and research institutes, evaluate Canada’s most complex health challenges and recommend strategic, actionable solutions.
CAHS, along with our sister academies (Canadian Academy of Engineering and Royal Society of Canada), have offered to provided evidence-based advice in an expedited manner in order to support the federal government’s efforts to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
