Thank you for joining us in Montreal May 7 and 8 for our 2026 Forum “One Health, health sciences and CAHS”
The Canadian Academy of Health Sciences 2026 Forum focused on One Health and how it related to health sciences and CAHS’ work. Throughout the event, participants heard from experts in One Health about recent initiatives and how they impacted the work done by health scientists in Canada and internationally. Breakout sessions enabled more in-depth discussions and exchanges. Keynote speakers provided information on how their work embraced and was informed by the concept of One Health. Finally, CAHS held sessions that provided updates on what the Academy was doing and how its work was influenced by One Health approaches.
Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and facilitated breakout sessions with internationally recognized leaders in the fields of climate change, health, and sustainable care, participants gained insight into the state of the evidence base and deliberated on strategic and actionable solutions.
