On December 16 in a first-of-its-kind virtual ceremony, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, invested CAHS Fellow Dr. Renaldo Battista, C.M. and five other recipients into the Order of Canada.
Dr. Battista, a pioneer in health technology assessment, has been instrumental in revitalizing provincial and national health services. As an advisor, he has also helped raise Canada’s international profile by sharing his talents with other countries.
