The primary mandate of the Standing Committee on Public Affairs is to increase CAHS’ visibility and impact with external stakeholders through government, public and stakeholder relations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a government relations strategy, define the objectives, and oversee its implementation;
  • Establish a public relations strategy, define the objectives, and oversee its implementation; and,
  • Maintain a list of key CAHS stakeholders, establish a strategy on how to work with them, set and maintain objectives and goals, oversee the implementation of the strategy and report.
